Expertise and Care in Equal Measure
Aralya was established by mental-health professionals whose aim extends beyond treating illness — to helping people live fully and well. That commitment is shared by everyone here, from our founders to the instructors who guide each day.
Our Team
Aralya is led by mental-health professionals committed to both clinical excellence and everyday wellbeing.
Dr Arpitha B K
Founder & Consultant Psychiatrist
MBBS, MD Psychiatry – NIMHANS
10+ Years of Clinical Experience
Dr Arpitha B K is a NIMHANS-trained Consultant Psychiatrist and Founder of Aralya Active Living. With over 10 years of experience in psychiatry, she brings a compassionate, evidence-based and holistic approach to mental health care.
She believes that every person has a unique story, and that effective treatment begins with listening deeply, understanding the roots of distress, and creating an individualized plan. Her approach focuses on using medication judiciously, while also integrating psychotherapy, family interventions, lifestyle correction, structured routine, movement, creative engagement and rehabilitation.
At Aralya, Dr Arpitha’s vision is to help people move beyond symptom control and rebuild confidence, connection, independence and quality of life. She is especially passionate about depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, psychosis, addiction, sleep disorders, women’s mental health, geriatric psychiatry and treatment-resistant conditions.
Her goal is simple: to help every individual feel heard, understood and supported with confidential, ethical and evidence-based care.
